Charitable Trusts and Corporate Landowners

Many organisations own land where public access is more or less incidental to the main purpose of the holdings. For example, Wildlife Trusts may own land primarily for conservation or water companies hold land for the purposes of water catchment and supply. Whatever the main purpose, land can be affected by public access, particularly since the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000.

For many organisations it simply does not make sense to have their own in-house rights of way and access specialist — this is where Land Access can help.

Land Access can provide specialist support to;

  • Quarrying and other land development companies needing to temporarily divert paths
  • Conservation organisations needing to manage public access along with wildlife interests
  • Land managers facing claims for new rights of way
  • Organisations wishing to ensure that their access provision is safe and Disability Discrimination Act compliant
  • Charitable trusts and others wishing to improve access to their sites
  • Organisations making grant applications involving public access

If your land is open to public access, we can provide the specialist services you need to manage that access. Contact us to see how we can help.
