Access for All

Access providers must not discriminate against disabled users. The Disability Discrimination Acts of 1995 and 2005 place a duty on providers to ensure that all new stiles, gates, surfaces, gradients, widths of paths etc., etc. are reasonably accessible to all. (In many cases stiles are no longer appropriate where there is public access.)

We can advise on all aspects of disabled access provision — both physical and intellectual. We can make sure that you meet your DDA requirements and that any structures you use are suitable and, where appropriate, compliant with BS 5709:2006. To discuss your disabled access survey and/or design requirements, contact Land Access at office@landaccess.co.uk
